16 Mrz Freed project – Project kick-off meeting in Oulu, Finland
European Institute for Innovation are involved in a new funding program area.
From 07.-10. March 2016 the Freed project partnership was invited by the lead partner, the University of Oulu, to the project kick-off meeting to Oulu, Finland. Chris Ashe and Benjamin Daumiller represented the European Institute for Innovation (EIfI) in an untouched European funding program called Interreg VB Northern Periphery and Arctic Program (NPA). The EIfI is a partner outside the eligible program area, thus its task within the Freed project is the dissemination and promoting of its results beyond the NPA region, using its EU networks, in addition to provide innovation into the NPA area.
Further details about the project:
The FREED project (Funding Resources for innovation in Energy Enterprise Development) is a Interreg NPA Priority Axis 1 project. The Lead Partner is Oulu University from Finland. The project’s total budget is 1,996,894 EUR, with a ERDF grant of 1,181,767 EUR.
